The average cost of rhinoplasty at Nease Cosmetic Surgery is usually between $5,000-$8,000. Rhinoplasty surgery will vary from patient to patient, and your total cost will be discussed in detail during your initial consultation. The doctor will help you decide which options will provide the best results for your desired goals and be able to give you an exact price for the procedure.

Sometimes, insurance will cover the cost of some rhinoplasty procedures, depending on the reason they’re being performed—but you’ll want to check with your insurance company to be sure. We accept cash, check, or credit cards and also offer financing options for our patients.

What Are the Benefits of Rhinoplasty?

Benefits of rhinoplasty often include physical, mental and emotional benefits, depending on the reason for the surgery. Most patients are very excited about their natural-looking results and some of the most common benefits include:

  • Enhanced appearance
  • Improved breathing and fewer sinus issues
  • Increased self-confidence
  • Improved facial balance and symmetry
  • Reduced snoring

Am I a Good Candidate for Rhinoplasty?

If you’re healthy and over the age of about 14 or 15 years, chances are you’ll be a good candidate for rhinoplasty. It’s important that your facial skeleton has matured before you undergo rhinoplasty. This is usually around 14-15 years old for girls and about 15 for boys.

What is Revision Rhinoplasty?

Revision rhinoplasty, sometimes referred to as secondary rhinoplasty, is the term applied when a patient has had a previous rhinoplasty that didn’t resolve their issues, either cosmetically or functionally.

Revision rhinoplasty is often an even more complex operation than the original surgery. Rhinoplasty specialists, like Dr. Nease, typically have the most experience with revision rhinoplasty and are considered best able to perform the necessary corrections.

What is Rhinoplasty Recovery Like?

Most of the time, recovery following rhinoplasty is relatively short. Most patients will have to wear a nasal splint for about a week or so. There will be some swelling in the face and possible bruising that usually begins to look and feel better after about three days.

Total and complete healing can take up to six months, which is when the final results of your “new nose” will be most evident.

Your doctor will give you specific post-op instructions, but generally speaking, strenuous activity should be avoided for about three to six weeks following the surgery. You should be able to return to your normal activities as early as two to three weeks.
